Delivery & Access Policy
Effective Date: 11.02.2026
This policy outlines delivery methods, access requirements, and client responsibilities for all Sakaia Collection orders.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. DELIVERY METHODS
Delivery options are determined by item size, weight, and destination.
A. Small Parcel & Décor Items
• Delivered via doorstep delivery
• Placed at building entrance or apartment door
• No assembly or packaging removal
• No appointment required in most cases
Free doorstep delivery is available within the UAE for small parcel orders of AED 500 or more (after discounts).
Orders below AED 500 are subject to calculated shipping rates at checkout.
B. Smaller Furnishings
Includes items such as nightstands, side tables, coffee tables, ottomans, benches, dining chairs, and select lighting.
• Delivered via threshold delivery
• Delivered to the first dry and accessible area inside the home
• No installation unless otherwise specified
Threshold delivery within the UAE is included in the product price.
C. Larger Furnishings
Includes sofas, sectionals, beds, cabinets, dressers, dining tables, and large-scale items.
• Delivered via scheduled threshold delivery
• Delivery appointment required
• Adult signature required
White glove delivery may be available at checkout for an additional fee where applicable.
2. DELIVERY ZONES
UAE:
Threshold delivery is included within the UAE.
Additional Emirates:
For deliveries outside Dubai, surcharges may apply and will be calculated at checkout.
GCC Countries:
International shipping and customs duties are calculated at checkout where applicable.
3. CLIENT ACCESS RESPONSIBILITY
Clients are fully responsible for ensuring that purchased items can be safely delivered into the property.
Before placing your order, you must:
• Measure all doorways, corridors, elevators, staircases, and entry points
• Verify building access and service lift dimensions
• Confirm parking and loading access
Sakaia Collection is not responsible for delivery refusal due to restricted access.
If delivery fails due to access limitations:
• Redelivery fees may apply
• Return fees and restocking charges may apply
• Storage fees may apply if delivery cannot be completed
All furniture dimensions are fixed and cannot be altered after production.
4. SCHEDULING & DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
For scheduled deliveries:
• You must be present during the agreed delivery window
• Missed appointments may incur rescheduling fees
• Delivery partners optimize routes; delays may occur
If delivery cannot be scheduled within five (5) business days after notification, storage fees may apply.
5. MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS
Custom upholstery and made-to-order items:
• Are manufactured specifically for each client
• Cannot be cancelled once production begins
• Cannot be returned except in cases of verified manufacturing defect
Lead times listed on product pages are estimates and may vary.
6. DAMAGES & CLAIMS
If your item arrives damaged:
• Note damage on the delivery receipt where possible
• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging

Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for review.
Damage resulting from client handling, third-party movers arranged by the client, or failure to verify access clearance is not covered.
7. RISK TRANSFER
Risk of loss transfers to the client upon delivery in accordance with the selected delivery method.
8. POLICY UPDATES
Sakaia Collection reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase governs the order.
